Westridge Ranch was founded by Bob Hunter, general contractor from Alaska, who purchased the land in the 1980’s from the Emmett Newell Family.

When he first stepped foot on the site and took in the stunning views over the Payette River, he was awestruck.  He couldn’t wait to call his wife Mae and said “Don’t say no, I found a place in Idaho that you won’t believe!”
