The land known today as Westridge Ranch is one with a storied history. The land, nestled between the Payette River and Squaw Creek, sits under the watchful eye of the iconic Regan Butte, an extinct volcano, which casts its shadow over the river bend.
SWEET | IDAHO
Westridge Ranch was founded by Bob Hunter, general contractor from Alaska, who purchased the land in the 1980’s from the Emmett Newell Family.
When he first stepped foot on the site and took in the stunning views over the Payette River, he was awestruck. He couldn’t wait to call his wife Mae and said “Don’t say no, I found a place in Idaho that you won’t believe!”
Westridge Ranch offers the rare opportunity to own private waterfront acreage on Black Canyon Reservoir which is a part of the Payette River.
